What we are looking for

We are seeking a Head of DevOps with expertise in AWS, K8, Docker, Terraform, MongoDB, and familiarity with ArgoCD, Github actions, ELK stack (or Grafana Loki), Kafka, and Kafka Connect. Experience with high-load and distributed systems is essential.

As the Head of DevOps, you'll lead our strategy, ensuring seamless deployment and scalability. You'll drive continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes, working closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

● Lead and define the DevOps strategy, aligning with organizational goals and industry best practices.

● Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes using tools like AWS, K8, Docker, Terraform, and Github actions.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment, scalability, and robust infrastructure.

● Monitor and optimize system performance, utilizing tools like ELK stack or Grafana Loki, Kafka, and Kafka Connect.

● Ensure the highest level of security and compliance across all DevOps practices.

● Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in DevOps, implementing innovations as needed.

● Mentor and guide the DevOps team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

● Participate in troubleshooting and resolving high-load and distributed system issues.

● Coordinate with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.

Skills and Qualifications

● Strong experience with AWS, K8, Docker, Terraform, MongoDB, and ArgoCD (nice to have).

● Proficiency in Github actions, ELK stack (or Grafana Loki), Kafka, and Kafka Connect.

● Solid understanding of high-load and distributed systems architecture and management.

● Experience with modern DevOps build pipelines and tools.

● Knowledge of agile software development methodologies and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

● Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.

● Strong leadership and team management abilities.

● Strong written and verbal communication skills.

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

● At least 5-7 years of experience in a DevOps role, with a proven track record of leading successful initiatives.

● Understanding of complementary technologies and frameworks would be a plus.
