We are in search of a Business Development Manager with a unique blend of skills in monetization partnerships, business, finance, and tax areas. This role is pivotal in establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships, particularly with Apple, Google and Shopify, to enhance our monetization strategies, get featured on the app stores, and propel our business growth.

As a Business Development Manager, Platform Relations at Vinivia, you will lead our Business Development, Partnerships effort, playing a pivotal role in advancing the following key areas:

  1. Monetizing our app on the Apple and Google Play stores

  2. Monetizing our app using Shopify and other partners

  3. Getting our app featured on the Apple and Google Play stores

  4. Building partnerships with Advertisers and Brands

 

Who You Will Work With:

In this role, you will have high agency, high visibility, and report to our Chief Product Officer. You'll collaborate closely with a diverse and talented cross-functional team of Stakeholders as you drive the partnerships needed to make our product a success, both financially and for our customers.

Responsibilities (How your skills and passion will come to life):

  • Strategic Partnerships:
    • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with decision-makers at Apple, Google, and Shopify.
    • Lead collaboration efforts to integrate our platform into their ecosystems with a focus on monetization.
    • Manage partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry standards.
  • Monetization Strategy:
    • Innovate and implement effective monetization strategies.
    • Monitor market trends and competitor strategies to identify new opportunities.
  • Financial and Tax Expertise:
    • Utilize financial and tax knowledge for structuring advantageous and compliant deals.
    • Analyze the financial impact of partnerships and strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work with various internal teams for seamless strategy execution.
    • Communicate partnership developments across the company.
  • Market Analysis and Reporting:
    • Conduct market research in live-streaming and e-commerce sectors.
    • Prepare reports for senior management.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Must-Have Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years in business development or partnership management in the tech industry.
    • Established relationships with key personnel at Apple and Google.
    • Proven experience in featuring apps on the iOS App Store and Google Play Stores.
    • Strong financial acumen and knowledge of tax regulations.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Creative, strategic, and problem-solving mindset.
    • Willingness to travel as required.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Must-Have Soft Skills:
    • High emotional intelligence, high empathy for others (teammates, customers) and a selfless "take one for the team" attitude
    • The ability to inspire, lead and influence teams and stakeholders across the organization
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional environment and deliver results
    • Excellent communication (both written and verbal), collaboration, and leadership skills

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Established relationships with key personnel at Shopify.
